Why Kids & Co?

The focus is on your child.

Our Kids & Co daycare centres are geared specifically to the needs of working parents. Children of between 3 months and school age are looked after year-round (apart from between Christmas and New Year) in a professional and loving environment.

The Welfare of the Child Comes First

The well-being of each individual child is the very highest priority in our work. Our well-trained teachers observe each child with an understanding of their development and support them in their personal growth. All of the skills that are important in the development of every child - logic, language, motor skills and learning through play - as well as social skills, are encouraged on a very individual basis. Our teachers also work according to the scientific findings in this field and pursue their own ongoing training programmes. Our comprehensive educational concept for our Kids & Co daycare centres has been revised with the support of the Marie Meierhofer children's institute (MMI). For those interested in teaching, the comprehensive version is available from our branches.

Understanding Team - Flexible Services

Our team is familiar with the everyday challenges that parents face. Family and career are two dimensions that are often difficult to reconcile. Our long opening hours almost all year round offer our working parents the scope to pursue their professional careers. Our team shows understanding for parents' concerns and provides regular updates on their child's day-to-day activities.

Attractive Premises for our Kids & Co Daycare Centres

As part of our high quality standards, the indoor and outdoor spaces occupied by our Kids & Co daycare centres are charmingly decorated and unusually large. We offer play equipment for children of every age that stimulates their natural curiosity.

The Great Outdoors

Our principle that every Kids & Co should have a garden or playground has proven its worth! Even our youngest children have a chance to experience the outdoors every day, investigating and getting to know it in their own way. Some of our gardens are very large indeed, with enough space for the bigger children to run around and let off steam. Often, the children are taken outside in to the wider world - to the woods, the zoo, parks, etc.

A Healthy Diet is Important

Many Kids & Co daycare centres have cooks who look after the physical welfare of children and staff with healthy and balanced menus. Here too, we can accomodate the needs of each individual child. The children learn to eat in a group setting and get to know a range of different foods. Of course, they can decide for themselves what and how much they would like to eat. And some of our children prove to be wonderful chefs when they help the centre's cook or their teacher to prepare the day's meal......

"Early learning" - A Natural Part of Kids & Co

The focus is on the individual child, with their personal needs and abilities. Support for personal development extends beyond the aspects listed above, however. The different nationalities and family backgrounds of the children we care for enrich us all. Every day, the children hear different languages and get to know different cultures, attitudes and customs. The age mix of children between 3 months and around 5 years encourages the children to grow day by day and trains their social skills. Themed projects are just as much a natural part of our work as events that bring different generations together, such as visits to retirement homes.
