Who We Are

Foundation

In 1996, committed individuals from the Junior Chamber International Zurich joined forces to create the Childcare Service Zurich association, with the aim of finding new ways and new forms balancing family and career.

Objective

The association set itself the goal of establishing professional childcare solutions to complement family-based care, and of offering support to the staff of its member companies with issues.

Development

Based on the Childcare Service Zurich model, two further associations have so far been set up in Basel and Bern and an office in Geneva. The Childcare Service Switzerland umbrella organization was founded in 2007.

Financing

As charitable institutions, the Childcare Service associations are financed by membership contributions from their affiliated companies. With their support, these companies make a valuable contribution to the realization of family-friendly ways of working.
