Internship

Each year we look forward to welcoming young men and women to start an internship at our Kids & Co daycare centres after they have finished school. We value their curiosity and their interest in getting a taste of looking after children with us. After what is generally a one-year internship, you may have the opportunity to embark on a three-year FABE carer training course.

FABE

Each year, we train between one and five specialist carers (FABEs, from the German acronym) in each of our Kids & Co daycare centres. We like to offer this training to our interns, who we know because they have already spent a year with us. The three-year training course for the FABE qualification is supervised by specialist training officers. Support and encouragement for our next-generation carers is very individual. We work with the latest training tools (epac, etc.). During their three years of training with us, our trainees gain a wide-ranging insight in to their chosen profession.
